Who We Are

Shane Morgan is a Houston native and the current VP of Engineering for The Aspen Company. With over 27 years in telecommunication, his experience includes Program Management in Fiber to the Home (FTTH), 5G Deployment, EPC, Long Haul Fiber Optic, both Aerial and Underground Construction, and Wireless and Tower Solutions.

His extensive knowledge of all Broadband Network infrastructures led him to engineer multiple large-scale multimillion-dollar projects throughout North America, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean as well as managing offices across North America, South America, and Asia.

As Vice President of Logistics, Kelly McGee manages Aspen’s facilities, fleet, warehouse, and procurement. She has been with The Aspen Company for four years and in the telecommunications industry for over 25. Under her leadership, her team works to provide the customer, and Aspen, with the most efficient and effective solutions to their supply chain and procurement needs.

She has successfully started several companies, and their branches, throughout the United States. In addition, she’s managed facilities over 500,000 square feet, inventories of $150 million, and fleets in excess of 500 units across multiple states. Outside of work, Kelly is passionate about family, friends, and baseball. It’s been a bucket-list item to see a baseball game in every MLB stadium.

Regional Vice President, Gregory Loop, manages multiple customers in several regions throughout Texas for The Aspen Company. Bringing with him 45 years of industry experience, he has led teams in several states and for multiple customers.

He was involved in the first cable systems in Los Angeles, New York City, and Long Island. He believes his exposure to, and involvement with, new technology in the industry allows him to give the customer an educated solution to their technical needs.

As CFO for The Aspen Company, Jennifer brings with her over 20 years of accounting experience. In addition, she’s been with The Aspen Company for over 10 years and has been instrumental in its exponential growth.

During Quanta’s acquisition of Aspen, Jennifer lead the transition of the company from the private sector into the public sector. She works to continuously improve and strengthen their accounting processes to ensure both the integrity and future growth of the company.

Ernest joined The Aspen Company in 2022 as Vice President of Government Affairs where he leads strategic planning and government engagement. He has been involved in the telecommunications industry for over 27 years and continues to leverage his knowledge and experience to help grow The Aspen Company in the Texas region.

Ernest also served in the Army for 7 years, where he was deployed in combat operations during both Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Married for 21 years with 4 children and two grandchildren, he enjoys spending time with his family, church, and fishing.

As Senior Vice President of Operations, Thomas “Tommy” Cichon brings with him over 20 years in the telecommunications industry, as both client and customer. He currently oversees the development of company strategy, manages the P&L, and drives increased revenue through customer growth and diversification.

Tommy is an experienced leader, whose focus on preemptive strategy and process improvement will continue to drive The Aspen Company’s growth throughout Texas. Outside of work, Tommy enjoys spending time with his family and cooking.

Jerrid assumed the role of President of Operations in 2019, after 7 years with The Aspen Company. Having over 22 years in the industry, he prioritizes a culture of safety and heavily invests in his employees.

Delivering a quality product for our customers, while building a company where employees matter, is a top priority when making decisions. Under his leadership, The Aspen Company has grown to over 300 employees and is constantly expanding into new regions across the state of Texas.
